We're a family-run halal Mediterranean food cart on N Williams Ave, located inside a cartside food pod, serving authentic shawarma since 2022.
Everything on the menu is made fresh daily — halal meats, house-made sauces, traditional recipes. We've built a loyal following across Portland and we're growing.
You'll be a core part of a small, fast-moving crew. Shifts are approximately 4 hours, 5 days a week — great for someone who wants consistent part-time income without a full-time commitment.
What You'll Do
- Prep ingredients and set up the cart throughout the day
- Take and assemble orders quickly and accurately using our POS system
- Keep the workspace clean and organized during service
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, professional way
- Help with end-of-day clean-up and close-down
- Reliable — you show up on time, every time
- Fast and efficient in a small, high-energy workspace
- Friendly with customers even when it gets busy
- Takes pride in food quality and cleanliness
- Oregon Food Handler Card required — can be obtained before first shift ($10, ~1 hr online)
- Experience in a kitchen, food cart, or fast food environment
- Familiarity with Middle Eastern or Mediterranean food
- Bilingual is a plus

No prior related experience required — we'll train the right person.

- Monday – Saturday availability preferred

- Pay: $16–$18/hr based on experience + cash tips
