Our STORY
The Shawarma Truck is a family-run halal Mediterranean food cart located on N Williams Ave.
My name is Mustafa, and with the help of my family we started our mission to bring authentic Middle Eastern cuisine to the Portland community.
Our main focus is using high-quality halal meats & ingredients, traditional recipes native to the Middle East, and making sure everything is fresh & prepared daily.
With my love for creative digital design, I also didn’t want this to just be another boring shawarma truck… I wanted to make this look and feel NEW — something Portland hasn’t seen yet.
We are constantly seeking to improve and create new amazing items that mix between the old traditions and the future — from flavors to the tech powering this brand.
Slowly, we started getting guests from local areas like Alberta District, Pearl District, and all over Portland — even from Vancouver, Seattle, and across the states — stopping by after searching for “Best shawarma Portland,” “Mediterranean food truck,” and “halal food Portland.”
