Our STORY
The Shawarma Truck is a family-run halal Mediterranean food cart located on N Williams Ave.
My name is Mustafa, and with the help of my family we started our mission to bring authentic Middle Eastern cuisine to the Portland community.
Our main focus is using high-quality halal meats & ingredients, traditional recipes native to the Middle East, and making sure everything is fresh & prepared daily.
With my love for creative digital design, I also didn’t want this to just be another boring shawarma truck… I wanted to make this look and feel NEW — something Portland hasn’t seen yet.
We are constantly seeking to improve and create new amazing items that mix between the old traditions and the future — from flavors to the tech powering this brand.
Slowly, we started welcoming guests from the Alberta District, Pearl District, Mississippi Ave, and all corners of Portland — even visitors from Vancouver, Seattle, and across the states who made a point to stop by. Word spread, and we’ve been growing ever since. We’ve been here serving meals made with love and quality since 2021.
